IMPORTANT ISSUES

  • GATVOL PUBLIC MEETING

Public Meeting Monday 18th April, 2016 at 18h00 at the Fish Hoek Town Hall.
All Welcome….
Share your concerns and suggestions with the City officials:

Why is our traffic at a standstill? ; When will we have reliable public transpor?t; Why does the City continue to approve New developments without considering the above?!!

Be there to voice your opinion!!

  • PROPERTY VALUATION OBJECTIONS

Your property has been revalued for the GV2015 roll and if residents wish to object, the objection process opens on the 19 February and runs until 29 April 2016.

There is at present a valuations team set up at the Sub Council Chambers (entrance next to the Fish Hoek library). All property owners are invited to go and check their new valuations and written objections can be submitted. The manager of the team is Christian Easton.  Please make use of this facility.

Alternatively go to www.capetown.gov.za/propertyvaluations to view your valuation and to lodge an objection during the prescribed time period.

  • VOTER REGISTRATION AND CONFIRMATION OF DETAIL

Check online to be sure. Go to https://www.elections.org.za/regweekend/ and type in your ID No. We are discovering that we are registered, but address is not verified.

Apparently the IEC don’t have confirmed residential addresses for two thirds of voters. Definitely worth checking!
You can still sms 32810 to see if you are registered, or Visit Alphen Centre
